Yamaha SD493 14×3.5 Brass Piccolo Snare Drum. Very nice example of a very rare/sought after Yamaha SD493 brass piccolo snare drum. This model of snare drum was used extensively by Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Keith Carlock and many more. Has all original parts, including the Yamaha Power Hoops and original snare wires. No lug lift, everything works as it should and it sounds absolutely AMAZING. The brass shell is tarnished in places, might benefit from a polish, or just enjoy as it is. I believe it dates to 1990, however Im not an expert with Yamaha serial numbers. Fitted with a Remo Ambassador Coated batter head and a Remo Ambassador snare side resonant head, both have plenty of life left. Please check out my other items for sale and thanks for looking.
