Its expertise in this very specialized field of baroque trumpets is clearly featured with this model. It offers a rich sound, well balanced tuning over all the registers, as well as an easy and a centered blowing, particularly in the high register. The Maurice André model is the great reference in the piccolo trumpet history. This model, made in the late 60s’ by Selmer was played almost exclusively by Maurice André in his career: ideal projection, always in tune, perfectly centered and great ergonomics. Technical condition: valves and slides move smoothly and lightly, very good compression Visual condition: no dings, no dents, lacquer finish: about 99% remains, the lacquer has: discoloration and slight lacquer loss, sign of dent job at bell Finish: lacquered instrument, factory lacquer finish Additional information: overviewed, ultrasonically cleaned, no case and no mouthpiece, additional leadpipe.
