Couesnon Paris Bb/A Piccolo Trumpet
I have had this horn in the collection for two years now and it is an excellent Triebert Moderne’Long Bell’ Piccolo Trumpet- Triebert Moderne was an alternative export name. This’Triebert Moderne’ is exactly identical to the Couesnon & Cie. Monopole Conservatoire Long Bell piccolos. Its larger bell allowed a piercing yet sonorous sound w. Hich attracted the attention of the great players such as’Bud’ Herseth, which he used in the Firebird and Ravel’s Bolero. This was the main player in the piccolo market before Selmer! Its most famous use would be in Dave Mason’s Penny Lane solo for the Beatles. It comes with its original case, two original leadpipes (Bb & A) and also including a nice piccolo beginner-friendly Bach 7E Mouthpiece. In excellent condition, I would say lacquer is around 96% and is in immaculate condition – closet queen status!
